US, Japan women’s soccer teams battle for Olympic gold
The highly anticipated gold medal women’s soccer game between the U.S. and Japan has just concluded. The game is a rematch of last year’s World Cup final, which Japan won in a penalty shootout.
Japan is trying to become the 1st team to win the World Cup and Olympic titles in back-to-back years. The U.S. is vying for their 4th Olympic gold medal and 3rd straight.
The final drew a crowd of 80,203 to Wembley Stadium, the largest ever to see a women’s soccer game at the Olympics. View results on BreakingNews.com.
